Pendley Families and Individuals Alabama 1-7-08

Individuals in this file are the thus far identified descendents of Reuben, Bennett and Jesse Pendley, brothers who moved from North Carolina, through Georgia and settled in Alabama in the 1840's. We have attached information on a potential fourth brother who moved earlier through Alabama to states further south. Thomas E Pendley identifies a fifth brother, William who setteled in Georgia, but information on his descendents is found in the Georgia file. Information in this file comes from a large number of individuals, but a special thank you need to be give to Patricia Pendley and to Steve and Robert Pendley, who provided a large piece of the initial base. there are a large number of others who need recognition, but I will try to do more on this in the next update. As with all of the files, this is a work in progress. Errors and omissions exist. Please help us to correct wherever possible. But watch the notes section that show what the sources were and what what was side in the source. We have not debugged everything yet, but this shows the thinking on the consensus thinking that was the basis for what was put in. Please help us to correct whereever possible. Martin S Pendley
