Descendants of Pendley brothers who moved from Georgia to Alabama

Individuals in this file are the thus far identified descendents of Reuben, Bennett and Jesse Pendley, brothers who moved from North Carolina, through Georgia and settled in Alabama in the 1840's. We have attached information on a potential fourth brother who moved earlier through Alabama to states further south. Thomas E Pendley identifies a fifth brother, William who setteled in Georgia, but information on his descendents is found in the Georgia file. Information in this file comes from a large number of individuals, but a special thank you need to be give to Patricia Pendley and to Steve and Robert Pendley, who provided a large piece of the initial base. there are a large number of others who need recognition. Members of this family almost universally use the Pendley spelling of the last name.
