Graveside services for Mattie Pendley Vintson, 59, of Bremen will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 27, 2006, at Pendley Hill Cemetery in Corona, Keith Gambil officiating. Collins-Burke Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Vintson died Thursday, May 25 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie Therron and Lucile Lolley Pendley; four brothers, Junior Pendley, Leon Pendley, Truman Pendley and Edward Pendley; and a sister, Betty Bradley. Survivors include her husband, Arthur Wayne Vintson of Bremen; a daughter, Sonja Vintson (Alan) Wilson of Jasper; three sons, Dennis Dewayne (Janet Baker) Vintson of Hanceville, Arthur Wayne (Tracey Sproul) Vintson Jr. of Bremen and Jeffery Helms of Fort Myers, Fla.; five sisters, Lois Lee of Parrish, Dorthy Roberts of Cordova, Sandra Makemson of Jasper, Bobbie Harbin of Parrish and Peggy Pendley of Jasper; a brother, James Pendley; and nine grandchildren.
