Funeral services for Floyd F. Pendley, 66, 802 N. Main St., will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Peacock Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold Cline officiating. Burial will be in Crown Point Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday, November 24, 1965.
Mr. Pendley died at 10:55 am Tuesday, November 22, 1965 in Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
He was born Jan 13, 1899 at Paris, Ill. On July 12, 1943 in Anderson, he was married to Vergie Fennell, who survives.
He was a member of South Side Christian Church. A retired Dietzen Baking Co. employee, he was a veteran of both world wars, having served in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, 40 and 8 United Commercial Travelers and Moose Lodge.
Surviving in addition to the widow are one son, Richard (Dick) Pendley, Anderson; two stepsons, Otis Wolfe, Miami and Robert Wolfe, Lapel; one brother, Chester Pendley, Paris, Ill.; one sister, Mrs. Nellie Guimm, Marshall, Ill., and seven grandchildren.
