Obituary as - Mary Rogers Pendley, Age 83, resident of Columbus, died on Monday, June 12, 2006 at St. Francis Hospital. Funeral services are scheduled at the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus on Thursday, June 15, 2006, 11 AM with Rev. Mike Benson officiating. Interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 14, 2006 from 6-8 P.M.
Mrs. Pendley, daughter of the late William Victor Rogers and Ada Mae Grove Rogers, was born on December 25, 1922 in Seymour, TN. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Pendley was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Glen H. Pendley; brothers, Paul Rogers, Fred Rogers, and Victor B. Rogers. She is survived by one daughter, Shari S. Littleton of Phenix City, AL.; one sister, Ada Ruth Brewer of Friendsville, TN.; one sister-in-law, Irene T. Rogers of Seymour, TN.; four grandchildren, Stephen P.
