Descendants of Joseph Penley of Maine

Joseph Penley of Gloucester, England, moved to Maine shortly before the revolutionary war and served in the American forces during the war. This database covers his descendants. Most of his large family stayed in ME, although some moved to Canada, the midwest, and Missouri, and nearly all maintain the Penley spelling. A large portion of the database comes from Robert Irving Penley's manuscript.
