Descendants of John Pendlay and Rebecca Lane of NC/VA/KY/IN

Individuals in this file are the thus far identified descendents of John Penley (born in NC) and Rebecca Lane who moved from Scott Co Virginia to Fayette Co, in eastern Kentucky about 1830. Most of the family continued on to Indiana and Illinois and a large portion of the family adopted the spelling of the last name as Pendlay. (Almost all Pendlays are part of this family). One major source of information for this database was Mrs Betty Condra of Logotee Indiana. Many others have also contributed. There has been a scattering of this family in most all other areas.
