Pendley Families and Individuals Virginia 1-7-08

The individuals in this file are descendents of Epp Penley of Scott Co, Virginia (born about 1800-1810).The bulk of these descendents stayed in the Virgina area, but there are numerous scatterings to adjacent states and even further afield. The original key researcher was Harry Penley who was for many years was the county clerk in Gate City, Scott Co, VA. More recently, Jerry Penley and his relatives have greatly expanded on the original work and have provided the vast bulk of the information found in this file. Notes included are key in showing the research that was done and the reasoning for the conclusions. I have added a few notes but again the vast bulk of the information and the notes are the work of Jerry and his cousins.
