He had lived in Kingsport for the past 24 yrs. US Air Force in WW II. Served 16 yrs with the Army Nat Guard in Gate City. He was a member of several lodges. He was an electrician. He died after a brief illness and contributions to the Leukemia Soc were requested, as well as to Wheeler Meth Ch and the J.K. Keith Scholarship fund. 5 g-sons. (from his obituary)
